Get Doubloons from quests. Use them to spin the wheel and get fantastic prizes - including brand new buildings!
Dear Kings and Queens,
Summer is here, and this year we visit the Forge Island to take part in the annual Summer festival! When you get there, you will hear from the local pirate, Jane, who will tell you a few stories and present you with an interesting offer.
There are awesome prizes to be won, so make sure to take this opportunity!
The event starts on Thursday, August 2nd, so you will soon be able to jump right into it!

The prizes on the wheel are random but don't worry - every wheel has something special that can be won! There are three tiers of rewards on the wheel. The most special prizes, shown with a gold circle around it, can be won by just one lucky spinner. The second tier rewards are surrounded by a silver circle and can be won twice (also by the same player). The most common type of a reward can be obtained by up to four players (you can see how many of each prize is left in the circle surrounding the image of the prize).
If, for example, you win one of the common prizes where four are available, one instance is removed from the wheel and only three will remain for you and your neighbors to win. This goes on until all the prizes in the wheel run out, at which point the wheel is automatically refreshed with a new set of prizes. Alternatively, you or one of your neighbors can also "refresh and spin" to call up a whole new set of prizes. The wheel is also refreshed when the neighborhood merge takes place.
In addition to some older event items, there will also be brand new rewards: special summer avatars and, most importantly, four new Caribbean-themed buildings.
The Ship that was mentioned in the video can be upgraded with The Ship Upgrade Kits, eventually ending up in of the three possible forms at level 7:

The Royal Ship, The Trader Ship and The Pirate Ship - each provides different output, so it is up to you to make the choice! You can preview their statistics as soon as the event is available by clicking on "The Ship Upgrade Kit" in the quest overview.
Also, take a look at the three new special buildings that you can get during the event:
