Here on the forum, there should be a "Delete" button at the bottom of your post. But I think it goes away after someone else posts. I'm not totally sure because the mod screen looks a bit different.

Here on the forum - you can only delete something that YOU post. Lower left corner of your post, your name, date/time of the post then 'Edit', 'Delete' and "report" (the last is a bit much .. not likely you'd report your own post)

With the new message system in game, you can remove everybody, then leave the group yourself. The message will disappear.
