I flipped a plunderer's level 68 AO denying him a double dip. Sent him a note saying it was clear he was desperate for FPs, he nicked a lvl 1 TF, so here's a few more. Never heard from him or saw him again. Good times.

On the UK server the higher one is in the neighbourhood rankings the less one gets attacked and plundered. Thus it makes some sense if one wishes to avoid being bullied by the neighbours, to increase one's ranking relative to one's neighbours - eg don't progress an era too soon. Just another factor you may wish to consider.

Snipe? How can you do anything to a great building besides spending your forge points on it?

Adding unwanted forge points to a Great Building is often called "sniping"

Look at your Hoodies GBs. Look at how many FPs are still needed to level a GB, or how many FPs are needed to lock you into one of the top spots. If you can do that and make a profit, that is a snipe. You can do the same with your friends list, but it is more polite to leave a friend with the last FP to flip the GB so they do not lose the Double Dip

What is the "double dip"?

Not all GBs but most of them, give 2 rewards. For instance CdM gives a boost to your military and it also gives the owner FPs every 24 hours, If you have your CdM ready to level, but wait until you have done your 24 hr collection first before you put the final FP in to level it, you then collect another lot of FPs. This is called the double dip (DD for short) It is not nice to deprive a GB owner who is a friend of these rewards.

Thank god i dumped my main city in O. When i first started out, still a clueless but facinated new player i followed a friend in a guild. "unlock tactics and have fun sniping people and steal thier productions" what i didnt know others could snipe me! And i had to endure all that for a long time. So now just 2 cities remain and will forever be stuck in EMA
