Traders of the Land has a few open spots for new members.
We're a casual, but highly dedicated group of extremely helpful players. We have a ton of really amazing people who put a huge amount of time and effort into helping others advance in the game. Th guild is currently level 49, providing 6 FP/day from your Town Hall as well as a 26% recruitment boost which reduces the time to recruit/heal military units (this applies to your Alcatraz GB reducing the time from 24 hrs. to ~18 hrs).
We have guild wide threads for 5/10/20/30/50/100 FP swaps, trade requests, sticks to bricks, GB level alerts, multiple static GB groups, and Trivia Thursdays where you can win a 50FP donation to the GB of your choice for being the first to answer that weeks trivia question! If you're not familiar with each and every one of those concepts, that's all the more reason to join us. We have 70+ active members at any given time, so the threads move fast and help is usually very quick.
We don't participate in GvG at all and focus is entirely on the Guild Expeditions each week, quests, seasonal events, leveling GBs, picking up trade requests for guild members very quickly (after all, we are Traders of the Land!), the continent maps, and the tech tree.
As far "rules", we have only two. First, we are a fair trade guild. Our definition of fair trade, which is not everyone's understanding of fair trade, is to trade 1:1, 2:1, and 1:2 when trading even, up, or down across ages. If you are trading for goods the same age as yours, you should offer an even 1:1 trade. If you are trading for goods an age above yours, need to offer twice as many goods as you are asking for - 2:1. If you are trading for an age under yours, you can ask for twice as many goods as you are offering - 1:2.
Our second "rule", which is somewhat of a suggestion, is that you gain at least 1,000 points each week to show that you're active. Even at the beginning of the game this is very doable. If you don't gain 1,000 points one week you are by no means immediately removed from the guild, but we will remove members who are chronically inactive to make room for those who are actively playing.
