Using tavern silver for goods

For us farmers that don't do combat, how about giving us a way to use tavern silver to generate more goods? Right now I'm accumulating tavern silver that I have no real use for.

i'm a fighter and i have no use for the tavern silver. Where i'm at in the game, the 30% tavern boost is a real joke and completely useless, it has zero effect on my attacking army, I win as many fights not using it than if i was using it.
