Viking Event 2025 Feedback

"One at a time"?!? You never learned to swipe multiple buildings?!? Dude, I manually collect over 100 WWs in a few cities and it takes very little time at all. I can breeze through collecting 11 Diamond farms in less than 5 minutes. And what does your total building count have to do with collecting production buildings during the rush quests? Surely you don't collect the whole city every time you collect a rushed production cycle.

I would agree if we were talking about collecting the whole city, However, we're talking about collecting a mere 42 production buildings here. Manual collection is not only an option, it's silly not to do it manually. In fact, if you have Forge Plus going (which is obviously the case with @Just An Observer), manually is the only smart way to collect rushed productions during the rush quests. Truth be told, the one time I paid for Forge Plus the fact that it collected Incidents along with everything else was the biggest drawback to it, and a big part of the reason I would never have it again, especially during events.
Since I am the #3 Future era player on Cirgard, common sense would say I know how to play this game. I have my way of doing things which works well enough to be #3.

You are likely a highly ranked player too. You found your way to walk the path to success.

As the saying goes, there is more than one way to skin a cat!

I think the game tasks did get easier because they're just "win # prizes" instead of you had to win a certain amount of a specific color of runes.

This event should be called Nickel and Dime Event. 5 here, 10 there, coin, 10 EM, 10 ally, fragments. It just drags things out to get anything 100%. Yes you can get 100%. I remember back when on the prize line, 50 silver event building went to 25 fragments, forget which event. Just looked, they are doing it this event. Now we are getting 10's. I feel like I am back to 8 yrs old and filling a piggy bank. Does Inno hand out an employee of the month award based on who can come up with the best idea to make events worse? Bcs there are definitely some winners there, just not us playing the events.

I have played for five and a half years. I seldom do any Events at all anymore. They suck. Cost way too much to succeed, and unless you really spend a lot, even with spending you end up with one or two buildings that are good for maybe (if lucky) six months and a pile of junk that is worthless
The Events are not worth bothering with anymore. So I do not play them.
Maybe dabble at them a bit for fun? but I don't expect to win anything worth something.
Inno needs to get it head out of it's collective @$$ on this.
Plus the fact they reuse the same mechanics multiple times year makes the Events deadly boring now.
Maybe on purpose? maybe Inno has a death-wish for Forge of Empires?
Or they just need to reassign the team doing Events to some other thing. Like sharpening pencils or dusting keyboards? Get some new people in Event planning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Events were way more interesting when each one had a unique style. (and not a trivial reskin of the same mechanics)

Dear inno.... .please note, I bought an event currency pack... please tell your statistician it was a "data outlier" and not representative of any experience of enjoyment or fulfillment in the game - it will not be repeated. I won't even bother going for the eternal market frags this event. Don't get so excited that someone actually bought event currency because it was a MISTAKE. And I will be much more careful in future events now that I realize how bad you're trying to squeeze us. The days of value are gone.

Events used to be what i enjoyed most but now i many times dread them. The only reason to do them is for the rewards. It isn't like they're fun. More like frustrating. I've always done ok on events. I follow plans by others smarter than me but on this event i think I'll be very lucky to get the eternal market frags. If i did 35 of the difficult quests that would take 1400 coins IF each one took 40 coins. Both mine took 50 today. Than add 6 rivals. Today the last one you needed to collect 2 blue ruins. I was LUCKY and got it in 4. But it could have taken many more tries. The only strategy i used was waiting for a board that had 2 so i had a better chance but that meant i had to keep checking back and got LUCKY to find one. Too much luck based. Too few coins to really enjoy it. And i still don't see how one can get the eternal market with the coins we get unless one is very lucky.

Is there a way to view the Rune Rewards chest lineup before clicking on the "Collect" when you have enough runes to claim a free chest? If not, has anyone come up with a way to back out of the check claiming popup without actually collecting a chest?

In other Events getting stuck in the reward pop-up I simply close the PC window and exit the game. Coming back the reward window in no longer open. But If I click on it, it is in the same status as before, nothing lost.

I tried that but when I reenter the event it takes me right back to the chest page. Oh well.

Hi. As a relatively new player here I was wondering if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong. I received a Berserkers Aim building on day one and immediately put it in my city. Two of the last 3 days it has said it was generating 20 blueprints but when I collect I see my 5 forge points and a brown box with a 20 on it. I can't find the box or the blueprints anywhere. What am I missing? Are they hidden somewhere? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The brown box holds your blueprints. to open it you would go to your "Inventory" lower edge.. click and open ...wander around or write a word like print or blue and it should bring up your blueprints to find the box. click the button to open at bottom of that image.
Yes partial words work to search.

Thank you for your quick reply. That was my first guess but unfortunately there's no brown box in my inventory and no mention of anything being added to my inventory in the log. Also searching for print returned nothing and searching for blue returned an ascended blueberry field upgrade I have in inventory but no blueprints. Very confusing.

The reason could be twofold. Notice the star beside the blueprints ? Of those three rewards only 1 will be rewarded if the building is aided first and at the rate listed . EG 20% would mean that item has a 20% chance of being rewarded . If the builing is not aided by you , a neighbour or a guildmate then you get squat when you collect , only the rewards without the stars beside them

It was aided all 3 times and has been aided again since my last pickup. Now it is showing that it is producing 5 forge points and 40 goods with my next pickup in approximately 21 and a half hours. It seems odd that as a random selection the building would tell you ahead of time what it was producing especially if it then doesn't actually produce it. And thank you all, the feedback is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, Sharmon explained it. The random part of the collection only happens when it is aided and at the % shown. So, you must have it aided now if it is showing the random part of the production (40 goods). The 5 FP that you see are produced daily, whether aided or not.

Do you have any Finish Special Production kits and Self-Aid kits in your inventory? If you do, and you are desperate for prints, you can use those to force level the BA a few times and increase your odds at getting the Blueprints production.
