Viking Event 2026 Feedback

Given the fact that fewer than 1600 players have taken part in the Viking Event, it would seem it is not very popular. Also, the fact that no one has commented on it is another indicator of its popularity.
 
Well, I don't think I will have the energy to hit 690 (GP), let alone 750 for the EM fragments. Somehow, I didn't play correctly, I suppose. In the beginning, I thought this one would be easy to win the GP but for me, it's not going to happen unless I get some lucky breaks. Doesn't really matter, as the GP has a huge footprint and its stats are not anything to write home about. I WAS able to secure three level two Huginn Tale Huts though and topped off fragments for 3 heroes from previous events, so all and all, I'm happy with the outcome.
 
While I am not always a fan of events lately, this one isn't bad for me. I'll get a golden Fjordstorm Harbor in 9 of my 11 cities with no Diamond cost, Probably a level 9 Valkyrie Tower* with no Diamond cost in those cities. Already at least two level 2 Huggin Tale Huts in each. And the Platinum Njord's Fjordstorm Harbor in at least one city with no Diamond cost, and the others with minimal Diamond cost at the most. Not to mention a ton of side buildings. Combine that with the absence of the Rival tasks, and I'm pretty happy with this event.

*One reason I like this building is that it gives BPs, which is great for me, being in solo guilds.

That's not number of players, that's progress along the grand prize line. I also have a city on Arvahall. I am currently in Silver league with 685 progress. So the top 1% of players on Arvahall are at or above 1563 progress.

That means the bottom 99% is the bottom 1563 players. That makes the top 1% is equal to 16 players!

Dude, the 1563 number is GRAND PRIZE PROGRESS, NOT NUMBER OF PLAYERS!!!!! That number has nothing at all to do with number of players except indirectly. It means that 1% of players have reached 1563 progress, and 99% of players have not. There is no way of knowing how many players there are in either group just from that number. Do I have to draw you a picture with crayons?

I like this event actually. 0 diamonds spent and a ton of what would normally be a "Daily Special". 1779470250930.png

I am so tired of ascendeds. I can't keep track of what i have and don't have. If they want me to embrace ascendeds make one place where i can go to see all the buildings i own in the city and in storage that can be ascended. Give how many days are left on the ascended ones and how many kits i have to ascend them and where if possible to get more. Without this handy info easy to see at a glance, I'm not getting excited about ascendeds. Like this dreki totem. I got 4 i may never place. I see the ascendeds in the store lasting 30 days. Why bother? I have no clue if there's a way to keep even 1 ascended let alone 4. At this point, all worthless prizes for me. I am sure i should be ascending my EM but since it can't be continually ascended, i haven't bothered ascending it so really i don't need to go as high in the event. I do ascend QI buildings Wed night before QI starts and anything else that shows in storage that allows ascending. But frankly, I'm tired of this feature.
 
I'm also tired of the ascended stuff, so I'm not stressing about it. I get what I can, use what I have and if I miss something "Oh Well". Game goes on. The large volume of buildings, fragments, boosts and ascended stuff they keep throwing at the game has created this situation for me. I still enjoy the game and concentrate on the things I like most, but overall for me it has gotten way too complicated.

That's the only thing I like about this kit. It has 28 different ascendeds in it so it covers most all of them in one package.

I got over the "Ascended" crap as soon as it was introduced. I avoid all of it where possible to the very best of my ability's. Other than a couple of ascended Koi Ponds I'm pretty much free of all that junk.

Interesting. I finished in Silver league in two of my 8 event cities, and would have finished in Silver in the other 6 if I had just bought the 40 Fate Amulets once in each of them. Thought about doing that last night, but decided it wasn't worth it to me.

I ended in bronze. I may have been able to buy 40 and make silver but i checked and the silver rewards weren't worth it too me. I made the progress i needed to get the event building and EM frags. I just bit sure why i went for progress as i haven't been ascending my EM and i don't think I'll place the event building. Unless I'm missing something, it doesn't seem good enough to place. The huginns seem like the best building but even the ascended fjord isnt good enough for me to want 2 of.

I guess thats the problem when your boosts are high enough to do what you want in gbg and ge already and the only thing you care about is QI, which you can do without anymore boosts till they come out with a higher age.
 
Did every task, played every day, collected every incident, spent every viking stone. Still ended up 1 kit short by like 60 progress. Building sucks but it makes me mad and inno shouldn't be screwing the free players.

Rest of the prices suck. I'm not really a "blue" player, so none of the buildings or upgrades were really worth anything to me because they're also so old that they fell off the efficiency bandwagon last year.
