What Attack % can a rail gun kill FE unit with one hit (without AO critical hit) need an answer plz

Hi, Can anyone calculate or know (in case working at FOE and has this knowledge) at what Attack % can a rail gun kill FE unit with one hit (without AO critical hit).

Even if the numbers are too high (not possible to reach) please put it down. Thank you

well, 643% attack I got but in one hit from my rail gun bring down the health of the other rail gun to last 1 dash of health and I wonder if anyone has the right answer:

I wonder why it says a 30% GB boost would let one RG one shot another RG, makes no sense, it's 208 v. 200, well anyway here's what that would look like correctly I think;

Thank you, after reading your posts I understood the way. Now, I can try using my rail gun against hover tank and will see if I get my Rail gun to 1995 attack I will be able to do the one hit kill against Hover tank which has defense of 105. Thanks again

The actual answer is its impossible to one shot past early ages without an AO crit. Reason being is at some point they slapped a max damage taken = 9 restriction on most units no matter how high the A/D spread is (also applied a min damage dealt = 1 no matter how low your attack is to everything). It was going to be on everything but then people protested that rogues couldn't 1 shot low age units anymore and that was a key feature of them so units that they 'should' be able to do that to got their 'reactive armor 9' taken away (first 2-3 ages of units, ranged/artillery for a few more ages after that).

Regarding the spreadsheet the problem was that it wasn't 30% bonus you had entered, it was 30. aka 3000%.

ah, good catch, was wondering what was going on. And I don't recall this other thing you say about max damage, must have been something just slipped in a changelog, hate when they do that. Do you have a link to the convo if you remember it?

would've been close to when i started playing (about 4 years ago) - the 9 damage cap has been in place for a long time (with those few early exceptions)

haven't found the anti-OHK patch. maybe that was something that just stealthed its way in unannounced. You can see the behavior though with your upper age heavily boosted units against say a colonial ranger or something of that nature where you still can't get the 9-10 damage range like you can against early age stuff with a lower A/D ratio.

Here's the calc a 940 Attack v a 40 Defense,say a CA Champ or whatever, a unit with 940 attack can do 9 damage and would need 950 attack to definite one hit.

I'd just look for something that can even do 9-10 (not guaranteed OHK, but possible OHK) - which is much easier to reach than the 10-10. Trying to dig up someone to siege me in AA with colonial age troops now - a medusa vs a ranger should be close to that 10-10 scenario ;)

Okay, so it seems according to that calc anyway that the minimum attack value you need for the minimum to possibly OHK increases by a factor of around 9 per each point of defense which by graph looks like this over the ages;

please don't say impossible unless it is! may be the attack % which is impossible to you I can manage to get it done. I thought sloppyjoeslayer math on the spread sheet is the correct math!

from the 500% I managed to do the 9/10 damage and I am looking forward to see when I am able to do the 10/10 damage

What I got from the calc anyway is I guess a good starting point in figuring out your attack value needed is to take the defense value of the target and multiply it by 9 plus a tiny bit more, that should get you to the minimum needed to possibly OHK. A definite OHK is much higher so it was a good suggestion xivarmy gave to aim for the minimum to get at least the possibility to OHK instead.

The calc was made by a PLAYER, who collected hundreds if not thousands of fights as data, and extrapolated it. I also remember he said that he programmed it as a huge piecewise function, not with a single and nice formula.

In other words, take that information with a grain of salt.

true but I think it's probably close to accurate, it's all we really have anyway.
