Where is the summer event announcement?

Am I looking in the wrong place or did I miss it somehow? Or has there not been an ann for the summer event? I've seen the post from beta but no official announcement for the live servers and we're now less than 30 hours from the start of the event according to the tab display on mobile & the surprise box countdowns.

I saw a pop-up when I logged on today and it pointed to a youtube video, I think. I didn't check it out and I don't know where it's at. I'm sure you could find info in the forum.

I saw that pop up last night. But the announcement is here now. Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that the announcement came less than 24h before it hit live servers?
