Winter Event 2025 Feedback

The main building that is offered is not very powerful. Also, even the yukomito building's upgrade is nothing to get too excited about since its stats are mediocore at best and even the QI action point boost is hardly enough to make up for this, especially in the long run. Probably the best building offered is the upgrade for the charcoal express but even that will be dated before long.

In my city the Yuki's have the additional duty of producing sufficient rogues as to eliminate the need for an Alcatraz/Rogues den combination.

My guild is not happy about having the Crystal Cascade in the Black Friday Event and not in the Winter Event. What caused the last minute change.

It wasn't a last minute change. Crystal Cascade was last year's calendar reward - it wasn't expected to return at all (calendar and league reward buildings usually don't).

Ripped right through the quests in a bit over an hour. They were easy-peasy even with no list of what was coming.

Might be able to pick up a few good buildings. There is a strong 1x1 in the mix.

Open 40 gifts to win the first prize....? 400 wooden bells! Inno is currently giving 10 per cleared task. I know that will increase to 20 somewhere down the line, but WOW! Buying them would cost 4,760 diamonds to get the 400 bells to just gain one prize....I can't imagine what the cost to get all the keys would be.

I skipped the last two lame a** events and decided to do this lame a** event. I must have brain freeze for the season. Keep forgetting just how much these events suck. You need 200 wooden nickles to even get a prize worth a cow patty, if they don't shuffle on you first.

or hear me out.. maybe just do the quests to get those bells?

It actually increases to 70 down the line for the 1/day quests.

Inno does not like to encourage people to get into this event early - making it look really really bad until you're already through the questline. Rather they want to make sure you have new currency each day after you've ran yourself dry.

Btw, if you want to buy a day on the calendar, it's only 500 diamonds for a wildcard :p Buying bells is not the way for calendar.

If you want to get the calendar for not too many diamonds (possibly free with decent luck), wait for rival quests to play the event, mostly. Rival boosters save a lot of bells on chasing snowmen or keys. But sometimes have larger requests for you themself.

Not sure why Inno thinks anyone wants to do tedious rival quests for 30 days around the holidays in December. I will just play as normal and not worry too much about the Rival. Did the same thing in the summer event and finished the calendar with only spending a couple thousand diamonds. I think finishing the calendar for free is basically pure fantasy regardless of luck, especially now that there are 16 slots to uncover instead of the normal 14.

I think they increased the slots to decrease the individual chance of getting "shuffle" on the first draw.

On todays task of go to 2 houses, I got shuffle both times on the first try. o_O

Really, what is the big problem with allowing users to shuffle when they want to as its own separate button, it's totally absurd and frustrating to play the winter event and it has been for many years.

If nobody was checking your game mechanic it might make perfect sense to load the "random" shuffle into the players selection to weight the odds in the house's favor.

Mostly increasing the slots would be to increase the average cost to find a key or snowman. If the daily special hadn't been replaced with a fraction of one in the form of *1* lantern coin, i'd say that too. But well they're all but eliminated anyways.

1 upgrade on questline

6 upgrades on prizeline

Bronze League for Eternal market frags

I already have twin yuki towers from last year .... i will be lucky to get this event bldg without using my diamond stash .

Enjoy the event if you can !
