Winter game. Getting Winter memories

I filled the winter memories
but to retrieve all the goodies requires would require spending $24.00 worth of diamonds
thats a big ask for mediocre gifts

Yes. If you want to play with the memories, while you fill it you need to use diamonds on the swap outs to get to things you want to make it worth the price.

If you were going to spend diamonds on the event, they can be better in the memories than other uses if used right. Depends what it is you want and how much of it. The more specific it is the harder it is to swap into what you need.

But once you filled the memories with crap, you're done. It's probably not worth the tax to take the first 9 and start over to do it right.
