    Found a fix to this issue -- using a VPN. Apparently the country I happen to be in somehow throttled downloading of the in-game updates. Go figure!

    Hi there, Android Pixel 3 user here. Had a minor issue in my city (only on one of two worlds) where clicking the main questline portrait would send the game to download mode and then crash on with the message "One or more files could not be downloaded, please try again later" Removed all data...
