My guild has a 1.8 thread, and I have heard many good things about them, but no explanations. Could someone please explain these things to me?

1.8 = base reward x 1.8
You the owner: put in enough that someone can take a position at 1.8 and not be sniped by anyone either on or off the GB
Once ready put the GB attachment in the thread. Someone claims the spot and puts in 1.8
That’s pretty much it.

Here's a calculator that shows you how much FPs you have to self-donate before the spots are lockable.
Select the GB, enter its level and under "% of global investors bonus" enter 80.
