[Question] "Blueprints and Double Blueprints"

DeletedUser6023

Why is it that all of the "prizes" on the summer casino wheel are "Age" specific yet every time I win a blueprint or a double blueprint it is for a bronze age or iron age GB that I already have... I am in the High Middle Ages. This just seems like a slap in the face. Just replace those spots with "lose a turn" because that's all it seems to be.

Summer Casino GB bp's and Excess bp's

I could not agree more...I've received not just bp's for GB's I've already constructed, I actually have received 3 of the exact same bp for an already constructed GB--unbelievable waste of spins!! I'd rather have a spearfighter to earn some medals in the bronze age tower. The GB bp's should be for at least no lower than one age below your current era, as there is a good chance you still might be looking for those bp's in larger numbers than a bronze age bp.

On a related note, I have an absurd number of extra bp's of already constructed GB's as do many players I'm sure. Are the developers revisiting the idea of what to do with these? Maybe a trading market as you might find with goods? If there is nothing to do with them, they shouldn't keep showing an already constructed GB in your inventory...that's just frustrating to look at. I understand they risk a possible loss of revenue with people simply purchasing bp's with diamonds, but can anything be done?

I don't think it's a good idea to open up a trade market for BP's. I already think it's to easy to get GB's. To open up a market to trade.. instead of 40% owning GB's (just guessing here), we'd easily be up to 80% or higher. Which to me, makes GB's not so.. "Great" anymore. I'd rather see an idea to make it harder to get GB's (BP's) instead of making it easier.

On the other hand, I am on the verge of entering the late middle ages and have no GBs to show for it...unless I purchase diamonds, which I am unwilling to do. Occasionally I used to "win" a few bps by frequently motivating/polishing the cities of fellow guild members. Now even that resource has for all intents and purposes dried up. I am playing 4 cities, and only one of them promises to produce two or three GBs in the near future. Also, I cannot even trade for duplicate bp sections because I may have 2 of one section, but never seem to "win" another duplicate. So, trading BG blueprints seems like a good idea to me...but I agree that they shouldn't be handing out willy nilly.

I personally do not think that a "marketplace" to trade BP's is a smart idea. Yea it would be nice to trade for the last BP that you can't seem to find but if everyone could do this then everyone would have GB's. I rely heavily on Friends, Guild Members and Neighbors adding FP's to my Buildings in order to win Blueprints. If people could just trade for the ones they need then no one would ever use their FP's on your buildings and it would be up to you to level up all your GB's. That would be the worst. What I would like to see instead possibly, would be a function where I could trade BP's that I've found for GB's I already have for ones I don't have. Not at 2:1 like you can do now for same building BP's, but 5:1 or 10:1. That way you could at least do something with the BP's.

I for one think thatis a great idea! To be able to have some use for the blueprints besides a"stamp collection" make sense. By trading 5:1, or something likethat, for a random BP to a GB you haven't built yet wouldn't make it to easybecause it would still be random BP to that building and you would still haveto have the GB built not just have all the BP to build it. After all, gatheringthe BP's is just part of the fun! You still have to acquire the necessary goodsand create the space to build it and of course invest the FP to make it reallygreat. I agree that it would take away from players contributing to otherplayers GB if they could just trade: your BP for my BP. I have lots of BP's,but only 1 GB built so far. If I had the goods (and some more space) I could beworking on building a second, I would expect to possibly gain a BP for this GBthat is not constructed under this trade idea, but at least I would have a shotat the other 13 GB I have collected BP's to, and maybe just maybe one of thoseelusive last BP I need for 3 other GB.

There are so many GBs in my guild and neighborhood no one donates FPs to them anymore. I have seen GBs stuck at level one for a month. You are lucky if you can get one to level 3 without putting most of the FPs in yourself. I think if you acquire another set of BPs for a GB you already have, you should be able to use those to complete a level of the GB they are for (not my idea, read it somewhere on this forum).

There is already a plan for extra blue prints that the developers are working on. It might be taking more than one might be expecting to get that, but it's still something that's being worked on and that is why people can still receive extra BPs.

I have noticed a lot of threads regarding BPs for GBs already built, they all end with words to the effect "there are plans for them, be patient." Patience is a virtue required and rewarded (and many times tried) in this game. I am looking forward to seeing what the DEVs come up with, some insight as to what that might be would be nice.

Although, right now I would rather they continue to focus on resolving the JSON issue.
