The "Boost All Production" (quest) Rocket says 960 diamonds to double all current productions. Does that mean just the productions being made right now, or all productions for as long as you keep current buildings?

all current production. you'll notice the price fluctuates depending on productions that are running at the time.
think of it as motivating all your buildings at once.

well that's a lot of money for just 1 collection, isn't it?

if you click on a single building, you are given the option to buy a "double production" for that one building, if you added all of the buildings together and then subtracted 20% you would get the number offered by the "rocket" option.
so, it's actually a bargain when you think of it in those terms.

It would make a lot more sense to use Diamonds to buy production buildings.
