Why has the enemy boost jumped way up? I'm in Ind. age and on Ind. continent. 75-100+ enemy boost which makes it extremely difficult to conquer. Did I do something wrong?

No, that's the way it's always been for all players. It's to keep people from moving up on the map too early in the game.
