Does Shrine of Inspiration give BP from above your current age?

All the info that I've seen just says "random blueprints". I'm wondering how random...lol

The only time you can get BPs from above your age are through aiding/plundering higher era buildings or contributing to higher era GBs. Any BPs you get as rewards from quests/Shrines/Incidents/GE/ToR are your current age or below.

As a player, I agree that it is completely and utterly worthless.

There are specific low effort play-styles that it's useful to. I've got a bunch of them up on my beta city that I barely pay attention to and it keeps me with blueprints in stock to dump FP into something.
