Does The Arc boost BP rewards?

Title says it all. The graphical alert that pops up with rewards when someone levels a GB shows that it boosts BPs but I've heard that it may just be a graphical bug. So does anyone have confirmation on whether the Arc contribution boost actually boosts the numbers of BPs you receive?

Yes it does.

It does but you might need to get a lot of bps from leveling a GB or a high level arc to really notice it. A 1 bp award needs a level 29 arc to make it 2 bps, a 2 bp award needs a level 8 arc to make it 3 bps while a 3 bp award only needs a level 4 arc to make it 4.
