A person who has the role moderator or higher has to enter the thread look at the top left of the pop up click the 3 bars than click group info and add or remove the user u want

In the new messaging system, players get automatically added/removed to all threads in Guild Tab/section.
Only in the Social tab/section admins have to manage the players.
