Halloween award *Finish Supply Production* not working

From the Halloween event I got an award that is called 'finish supply production' the description says 'use this item to instantly finish a production run of the building of your choice. It does say it does not work on great Buildings. So I set my new 'wood working building to a 2day run and it wont work! I'm I just doing it wrong or what?

If it produces something other than supplies it won’t work. Supply production is for supplies only

Your wood working building sounds like a lumber mill, which produces goods. So as Emberguard said, the finish supply production item won't work on it. I just wanted to caution you about setting up a 2-day goods production run. You'd best watch the timer like a hawk and be there to collect it when it's done, because a 30-goods plunder is a particularly yummy score!

Well to be fair he thought he was going to instantly complete it so can't be more watchful than that.
