How long should I stay in PME?

I would move on to CE, as it has the busted AA gun which, with 7 rogues, makes short work of GE. This means you can farm GE level 4 with less than even 90/90 army boost.

PME is way better than PMS.

That answer is about as stupid as your question. Nobody knows how much time you spend on the game, or what playstyle you use, so giving a sensible answer is impossible.

Get through it as fast as possible, and get AAVs unlocked in CE. Once that's done camp out and build up your PME goods by trading down, 1:1 if necessary. Then when you're ready to move on do the same with TE; blitz it, get to FE, and unlock hover tanks.

This is how I feel as well. Still camped in LMA. For me my current focus is leveling up my GBS on top of saving up.
