Story quest-water reservoirs

I have a story quest that is telling me to research water reservoirs. There is no such technology in HMA or LMA. Can I assume that the quest should say research water wheels? Water wheels technology does exist. I want to be sure I'll get credit for researching water wheels instead of water reservoirs... or should I abort the quest?

It is in LMA after Estate Houses. Water Wheels unlocks an expansion so you want to research that anyway but that places you pretty far from your goal and will not fulfill your quest.

The strange one here is "nautical statues." If you look at all the LMA tech that unlocks decorations/cultural buildings - nothing says it unlocks that. I scratched my head for a few days before I randomly checked my build options ... and there it was !
