What happens when I buy a structure for easter event?

Do I need to build it right away? Or does it get added into my inventory? I have no empty slots in my town, but I have enough to buy. So can I just buy and hold on to it?

The items are put into your inventory and then you can build them whenever you have the space. and you dont need to build the structure right away.
