[Question] Why do the Sabotage button not work on some conqests or not at all for plundering?

DeletedUser

I was curious why when you go through your neighborhood or PnP towers, that after you win the battle, the "Sabotage" button comes up for plundering, and nothing is available on the opponents city, or just a select few things? Sometimes you have to come back the next day to try to gain plunder, and sometimes you just plainly loose plunder as the system won't let you take any.

If that happens, it's a champ that either has everything plundered already, or has nothing done.

Some players pay attention to their production times and claim their goods/supplies/coins then start new production runs before they can be plundered.

Maybe it's a sign that you should plunder elsewhere. XD

Seriously, though, you cannot plunder what is not finished producing. I always thought that was pretty self-explanatory.

If you do run into this problem after attacking a player, and you can't seem to plunder any goods, coins, or supplies. Take a look at his buildings, check to see if any of his production, or supplies buildings are active (you will see miniature people working and moving around) If so, come back later and check up on the city before the 24 hour mark, and you might catch a building open for plunder ;) hope this helps

It could be helpful if you first look if his city can be motivated. If so, what buildings can be motivated? If supplies can be motivated but coin can't, that means you'll be able to plunder his coin for sure but not his supplies at the moment. It's harder to check for supplies and goods as they appear as unable to be motivated even when they're not working (where not working is not the same as disconnected, as you can see that).

This also gives you a few scenarios --- if you can motivate, either all or some of his buildings are currently "producing" and therefore will not be available to plunder at the moment. If you can't motivate anything, his productions are either waiting to be collected/plundered or his city is inactive.

In the first case, you can simply do what Auronus said --- go see if the buildings are "working" (buildings with animations are currently working, and you cannot know when they'll be ready as you have no idea what timing they've used). In the second case, try trial and error --- if he has nothing to plunder, and this happens more than once, consider that player deadwood until proven otherwise. :p
