[Answered] 2 questions on attacking/surrender

DeletedUser

Does surrendering have any consequences other than not being able to fight that person for 24 hours?
After winning a battle how long do you have to plunder the losing player if you do not do it immediately?

I have noticed no consequences from surrendering other than not being able to fight that person for 24 hours. After winning a battle you have 24 hours to plunder that person or else it resets.

When you surrender, the surrender only occurs on your unit's move. So if you attack someone with, say, 8 mounted archers, there is the possibility that you will take some damage before the surrender occurs. (Likewise, surrendering as a defending unit is approaching a valuable damaged unit will not prevent the advancing unit from completing its attack.)

Win or lose (or surrender), another battle cannot be fought against the other player for 24 hours.

You may plunder at any time within 24 hours after winning a battle.

I've noticed no disadvantages of surrendering either, other than not being able to hit that same person for 24 hours
