Most people don't care about typos. I had to "learn" that about people because I'm so particular about my writing... even in texts. But people that I know to be very intelligent were typo city! It would aggravate the shit out of me... until I finally "learned" how to just be ok with it. :-/

He was being very particular about his writing when he used it. It's not a word you just throw into a regular sentence, it has to be used in a particular way and in a particular context. And he used it perfectly.Sure, but I think it is strange that someone who claims to be "particular" about his writing uses it.
