Announcement: Summer Event 2017

Dear Queens and Kings,

Summer is here and that means the Summer Casino is open for business again! This year, it's run by two royal guests from an empire far away: Maharaja and his wife Maharani. They want to establish a casino in their own empire, so this year they take over from Greva (with her permission, of course), to learn about the business.
There are awesome prizes to be won, so make sure you visit their Summer Casino! If you didn't have a chance to participate in our previous events, now you have an opportunity to compete with your neighbors to claim some of those old event items, as well as brand new Summer items.

The event starts on Wednesday, June 28th and you have till July 19th to win as many rewards as possible

Considering that's from the UK server I'm wondering about the start and end date, will it be the same for US? or will we be a day later? Also it says "till July 19" so does it end on July 18th at midnight? or do we have all day of the 19th?

Good point. Wish pancea would post announcements at the same pace that EN posts them.

It's not UK btw, it's considered 'international' - same as Grepolis.

Who knows? The last Historical Questline was supposed to have ended on the 19th of June. When I went to finish up some last stuff at 0900 PDT 19JUN17 it was already shut down! So who knows? They sure haven't posted anything here on the US forum yet and if/when they finally get around to it I am sure absolutely no mention of specific hours will be made .... as usual.

I've seen time frames from England, Germany, Brazil, and the Eastern US in various posting made to the game.

The folk that run this shindig need to post everything clearly in UTC so the players can tell what is happening. But I doubt that will happen ...

Wish they would add the quests, give full details on event buildings and link the announcements in the comment thread for announcements as well.

First time I checked they didn't have the information for values on the 2nd building set.

Last time I checked they updated it and looks like they have all the info now.

Yeah I had the details a long time ago from playing on beta and I don't like that wikia site, too many nasty adds(yes I'm aware of adblockers). Just saying on the announcement page they should give that type info.
