Will there be Expansions from spending Medals in AF?

Do you mean "medals"? Because, while medals are usually made of metals, there have never been any "metal" expansions as a part of the game.
But I do hope that medal expansions will be a part of the upcoming Arctic Future releases.

As far as I know, no announcement has been made about the availability of medal expansions in AF.
