Attack bonus for defending army

Hi,

I was under the impression that the only way to provide your defending army an attack bonus is by having either a Saint Basil's Cathedral or Deal Castle.

With the new neighborhood today, I was attacking and plundering my neighbors. I've encountered two or three with their defending army having both attack and defense bonuses, but they didn't have a defensive GB. I saw some watchfires/ritual flames in their city which explain their defense bonus, but where does the attack bonus come from?

Ah, silly me. Never used champions, color guard or drummers, even in the earlier ages. I completely forgot about the bonus they give. Thanks!

Rally: All friendly units start a battle with extra % attack and defense bonus. This ability does not stack.
