Bakery question

[Gallienus 2255 the Brash]

I have 2 Macaron and 2 Gingerbread. They were “staggered”. I didn’t realize that “unique” meant literally a ”third” building choice. My question is this…if I pull up one and replace with only a Level 3 Bakery….does that qualify to the remaining 2 buildings as a viable “unique third” ??

No. Only the max-level buildings count.

Thank you for response. I had assumed as much, and is why never attempted to switch one out.

Yeah, I have a level 5 bakery next to a Macaron. Once I level it up I'll rearrange it to be next to both Macaron and Gingerbread
