When I want to upgrade my housing I usually just choose what I want to build and place it right over the house I am replacing and click. That way I don't need to sell the building first.
My question is do you get the coins and supplies back that you would normally get by selling when you place a building that way or do I actually need to sell the building first then place my new one?
The costs flash by to fast for me to know if I have been cheating myself out of coins and supplies simply for taking the 'lazy' way of upgrading.
