Dishonest ticket sale.

Inno should have pre-announced their sale on the site. Dishonest marketing imo.

Inno always offers these sales on every event near the half way mark or near the end somewhere.

Innogames has never pre-announced a sale of diamonds in the past, so there would be no reason to expect that they would do so for any future events. It's also a given for players that have played the game long enough that diamond sales are always offered during special events with event specific bonuses. The trick is being able to hold out on diamond purchases ( for those that buy them ) long enough to take full advantage of them.

To be honest the Q&A on it gave me a hint it was coming (no confirm or deny), but still, the better way, to gain their paying players' trust (and reduce uncertainty), is to announce these things ahead of time. This would then actually be beneficial for Inno in the long run.

But that's not how retail sales works - and really that's what this is - stores put products on sale and maybe you see a flyer a day or so before the sale starts but often flyers are timed to arrive just as the sale starts. Inno is not going to tell people in early June that they'll have a sale on diamonds in a couple of weeks because maybe someone will hold off on their purchase which means the company makes less money. The other reason to do the sale now, during the event, is that more people are paying attention to more cities and therefore they are more likely to spend money to get what they want. This is how retailers make money - sell to the few for higher margins - sell to the many at lower margins - and it balances out in the end.

If you wanna talk about unfair diamond sales, look at the browser and mobile sales. Buy through the browser and you get more for the same cost. That's where they went wrong, not with the tickets.
