Event ending in 8 hours, but the next building comes in 5 hours

What comes after this building has expired, anything? Is there going to be 3 hours of every building that has been in the random selection to spend stars on? Just curious. Hopefully the selection just ends and you cant spend your leftover stars on anything, that would suck.
