What happens when you participate in Guild Expeditions? What do you do with expedition points?

When you participate in GE, you help your guild. The more encounters you do, the more points you contribute to your guild. This gives your guild, "Guild Power." You also get rewards from each encounter. This is info on the Guild Championship:
