  • Make sure you give a full explanation of your idea: Have recurring quests reset to last quest completed instead of rotating forward a quest in the queue.
  • Include the reasons why the suggestion is necessary (for example why it enhances the players experience): There are 12-14 recurring quests available on each of the three questlines, depending on how many Story quests that have been completed. Players complete quest many times: I personally complete about 50 quests per day. Most of these quests are repeated constantly. This results in about 700 unnecessary keystrokes to "abort" quests and 700 animations in order to get back to the quest you want to simply reset. Forge is a task-based game - it takes a tremendous amount of time to complete all of the tasks necessary for successful play. I feel streamlining this small issue would go a long way toward reducing player fatigue and increasing player retention.
  • Describe how your idea will work during gameplay: Recurring quest would reset to the quest just completed as soon as the player clicks to accept reward, instead of rotating forward in the list of available quests.
  • Can you add any (small!) visual aids to help show how it would work? N/A
  • Can your idea be abused when put in practice? How could we prevent that from happening? There is no opportunity to for abuse or unfair advantage here, it's simply a time saver.
