Thus far into the lifespan of the game, this forum is a rather desolate place.

So come forth and introduce yourselves, where have you come from, why are you here?

Let me start :
  • I'm Odin, the forum moderator for the Tavern.
  • I've previously played tribalwars (ages ago) as dragon727272
  • And The-West as One Armed Ninja
  • I'm English, currently at university studying Chemical Engineering
  • Also play LoL, Mtg and just random games if I ever find the time!


So let's hear whatever you feel like telling us, we want this forum to look a little livelier than this. you can start up threads of your own if you want to talk about something, or just have a little fun, though please, don't spam too hard.

Played tribalwars for ages.
Saw this game and thought: whynot try it?
I already see thats its rather simmilar to the other games.
But so far so good.
I keep getting low on buildspace though.

Build space is rather annoying at times, been constantly rearranging my town.

How long you been playing tribal wars?
I started in when W8 was released and stopped sometime after they released world 20-something, a few years ago.

Hopefully this game will progress somewhat (and quickly), but for a start I suppose there's enough to keep me entertained for a while, at least anyway...

I'm Jarpenguin and I've played Grepolis for the last two years or so. I ran the Grepolis Wiki for a few months last year.

I am Dom. I have always been Dom, my username is dominotx711. I have NOT played grepo in I guess about a year, but I began in grepo in 2010. I tried TW for a while, and briefly (very very briefly) The West. Moving on to my career in FoE.....this is my third forum, third server. The first one I muddled around, jacking up city placement, but finally got a grasp on that. The second time, I obviously planned better, and decided to play around with the economic aspects of the game, and I have found it interesting. I am truly looking forward to the opportunities the new trade system will open up.

Since this game doesn't play like survivor where everyone back stabs to get ahead, I am excited to partake in this forum.
I am thrilled to be in a forum with Hellstromm. I have been on every opposite opinion known to man with him for almost a year, I think. Of course, I may decide I'd rather argue with him :p I can't wait to go up against him whilst he represents the rules :p AHHAHAHAHAHA....never mind, it was me laughing at my own devious thoughts

I am known to Mary and Jarp. Not sure about anyone else.
I think that is about it.

Hello

I'm m3gaman27.
Age 22.
I have played TW for about a year and half and still going. I am currently in W6 and in the SW area. I lost my first village and redoing my second after the First Great War that is still going on.
I really like this type of game style and that's I got hooked on it pretty quick. It reminds me a lot of the PC strategy game that you would have to buy from the Game Companies.
I am from California, USA.

Nice meeting everybody.
A full-time student at a community college majoring in Computer Science.

Hey all.

I've been a mod over at The West.net since midway through 2010 (under a different name there, just look for the paper bag). I've been playing that since March 2009 but it's the only Innogames game I really got into. I signed up on Tribalwars, Grepolis and Lagoonia but didn't log in after the first day.

I'm from Australia, here on the .us server because of Hellstromm. I look forward to getting to know all you njubs and hopefully not dishing out too much punishment ;)

16, been playing grepolis for 2 and a bit years, thought id check this out and it seems a much more chilled out game. THough i do miss the forums from grepolis! The communication between players seems a whole lot less in this game (though that didn't stop some njub from sending me threats as per :p)
Im on the US version because of Jarp's link i think... Though not sure how i then ended up on the real beta test forums? :eek:

Anyways, got a whole load of time for the next 4 months and im looking forward to spending it here. :)

Dark Lotus, 22 years old from Chicago's South Side! Student and play this at work (my job is making sure nobody plays games on company computers lol go figure). I am not really playing tho :laugh: I am just testing to make sure we are blocking games "ahem cough". Never heard of grepolis before. I did play tribal wars for a bit a long time ago. I get bored easy lol which is not a good thing. I am kinda a social person but in a game neighborhood where you just hear the crickets chirp (which prolly explains the 139 attacks) I tend to find ways to amuse myself at others expense. Really lookin forward to the change. Since there is nobody to talk to (and since I am not really a builder type person) your troops must die for my amusement lol.

If ya dont wanna get attacked, then just say hello or do some type of support. I will always respond in kind. Wait (going on a quick rant here) unless I see ya polished a tree. I got run down schools with spray paint and things that could use a good polish. If your choice is a tree then just skip it. Nobody cares about if the birds and squirrels are HAPPY! Trees are suppose to be dirty, THEY ARE TREES! I will have to attack ya just cuz I dont like tree huggers (done ranting).

Well we have 40 something people on here, maybe sticky this thread? Initially atleast it will be good for people to know eachother a bit better and this is a good way to start that :)

Also don't cry! First jarp and now you... Sheesh, i'm on a role!

Name's Matija, coming from Croatia. I played The West for around 3 years under the name Cro Sharpshooter, was a mod for a year and half or so and eventually quit it 6 months ago. Atm I'm playing Tribal Wars & FoE, and as you can see I'm a mod here.

Hmm dunno if there is a lot of ppl here who are not from USA,I am one of them ans I started here when I saw a thread on .en forums about it,and started here because it was new server and new world.

Same reason why so many people from the US were on the English server, or even in other games, players who played on the Danish server, played in the English server. There is no doorman at the door :p Besides, the US is a melting pot remember? We welcome allllllllllllll :D
