This game is mostly about Balance and space management.
Build houses to give you enough population and coin to make supply buildings.
Supplies are mostly needed to make goods building and to reset production after collection but also used in advancing technology and in the continental map.
Always have more coin and supply production that you use so that you will stock pile for expansion.
Next start making the goods that you have on the continental map and when you have enough trade them for other goods that you can not make (1:1).
Always look to find ways to get more land.
think about getting a Great Building to limit the house that you need and then the supplies you need and then population.
Start with a basic military because you can not defend your city for attackers anyway.
Read all about the building you can or want to get in the WIKI (fandom.com/wiki/Forge_of_Empires_Wiki).
