in gbg can the owning guild see there color instead of white or gray ?

They see their color. It is always grey.

Yeah, I was in the third GbG before I figured out you are always grey. Sucks, I wanted to be red so I could be bathed in the blood of my enemies. Nope, we're can't get our whites clean grey.
