Link in-game messaging system to personal email

I don't know about you but I very check my messages when I log on to the game and I miss some messages that are directed at me ("Keep your activity up or we're going to kick you out of the Guild", etc.). So what I would like to see is the option to have in-game messages that are directed at a specific player forwarded to their personal email. Also, maybe the option to follow certain threads would be good too.

As long as it's opt-in.... 'cause somehow I don't think I'd want to have the inbox that's currently attached to my ingame account receiving an email for every time a message is sent.

Or instead of your personal email, they could pop up on the Notification screen that you get when you first log on.

That's sort of already there. You get a popup ingame every time a message is received and a red dot if there's new message when logging on

I can get a lot of salty peeps messaging me so Id rather not open up my email and see list of toxic people spamming me

While that's true for any message, what I'm talking about are messages that are addressed to you specifically or ones that you have replied to.

The new msg system will probably help you out, but as for op:

In-game messages sent to personal email? Oh hell no.

Option to follow certain threads? Why? It's too hard to look for them, or to scroll if necessary to find them?

Notification screen must be a PC thing, I don't have that.

Speaking of messages..has there been any updates when the new message improvements will be made?
