Two mad scientists, Dr. Demented and Dr. Oblivion, both want to take over the world, however to do so they must conquer the volcanic tropical island that they both share.

Dr. Demented has created an army of Laser Monkeys. Cute, fuzzy, lethal. His abode is an abandoned military base complete with barracks for his laser monkeys.

Dr. Oblivion has created an army of Atomic Fruit Flies. Portable, hard to see, completely devastating. He resides in a secret underground compound beneath a dormant volcano.

What's their next move? Dr. Demented goes first.

Rules:

1. No profanity
2. Don't double post
3. Be creative
4. Neither doctor will actually kill the other (it's hard to gloat over a dead enemy), only their minions.
5. Alternate moves (posts). Dr. Demented goes first, then Dr. Oblivion, and back to Dr. Demented.

So to open:

Dr. Demented unleashes a squad of laser monkeys on Dr. Oblivion's secret base destroying the communication satellite dish in a flurry of furry laser fire.

Dr. Oblivion releases his swarm of Atomic Fruit Flies which darken the skies. The Monkeys, unable to target properly in the dark, fall prey to friendly fire.

Dr. Demented pushes a button on a remote which detonates bombs that were strapped to some of the Laser monkeys incase they failed in their assault, both sides experience heavy casualties, retreating to their bases to regroup.

But a single fruit fly managed to lay eggs in one of the monkeys.

Upon return to Dr. Demented's Base the monkey explodes and a swarm of fruit flies engulfs the military base barracks

Some of the monkeys go to the beach to play in the sea, laughing at the silly humans.
Using their lasers to cook bananas and roast coconuts.

Doctor Demented injects himself with the Mirakuru serum and becomes a human weapon.
