Microwave blasters and rogues

If a microwave blaster shoots at and transforms a rogue, does the Heat rule get applied to the unit the rogue turns into or does the transformation negate the rule?

The unit will be affected by heat when transformed. I like that it transfers: nerfs the rogue a bit.
