No. I have made as much as 125,000 Special Goods from a single Era and no end in sight.
There are two additional comments to the query: One you have to have enough "credits" from your Colony to be able to make Ore. Without Credits you cannot make Ore.
And. an odd thng where if you click a bit off to the side instead of right on the image of the ore in the Map, you go to the Map sectors and not the Ore making pop up.
