Question and clarification regarding Langendorn New World Contest

I am just looking for clarification in regards to tier 2 non-diamond use. Are there instances diamond usage is allowed, or are they not at all to be used. Thanks in advance for clearing it up for me.

Are you certain of this and if so, how?

The contest states. . .
You may NOT use Diamonds to:

• Purchase Goods to complete the technology
• Instantly Research technologies
• Speed up building time
• No Multi-Accounting or Shared Accounts (game rule violation)

My interpretation is that so long as you don't use them for any of these things it is ok.
