Rogues and Damage

So, I feel a bit silly just now getting around to asking this question, but recent experiments in tactics have raised it.

When a Rogue transforms into another unit - if the unit being used as the basis for the transformation is already damaged, does the rogue transform into a unit with the same amount of damage, or is it fully healthy?

Conversely, if the Rogue is already damaged when it transforms, does that damage carry over to the transformed unit, even if the basis unit was not damaged?

The answers to these questions might affect when to switch units in a race.

After being hit a rogue will transform into a base unit (presuming there is a base unit still on the field). When it transforms it will have the same amount of health as it had before it was transformed. Damage to the base unit has no effect on the transformed rogue.

A transformed in battle Rogue will take damage. If it still lives. (with damage) at end of fight(s) that damage will remain and need time to heal.

Damage from the base unit is not transferred. Any damage the transformed unit has is from the Rogue itself, prior to transformation

Yes.
