Saving forge points?

I keep reading about saving forge points. After 10, they appear to stop accruing hourly. What am I missing?

Save your fp packs in inventory. The bar you have to use.

You can turn fps into fp packs in your inventory. To do this you have to earn rewards from investing in others buildings. When that building levels up the fp rewards you recieve go into your inventory, not your bar. Your bar can reach a max of 100, but after it reaches 10 you will no longer earn a fp per hour.

When you contribute to GB, take part in events, quests, etc. you win FP packages 2, 5 and 10 quantities. I currently have 2,446 FP in inventory.

Also when you harvest FPs or earn FPs from doing quests they go into your bar. Unless you get a pkg.

Fp quest rewards from random rewards go into your inventory. FP from daily challenges, settlement quests etc. go to your bar.
