Slow Battles

I do not know if this is happening to you but for the past 3 days, the battles have gotten very slow. Everything else is running at the same speed that has been the case for years, but battles have slowed some 80% in speed.

Why is that happening?

I did everything you suggested (cleared cache, cleared cookies, deleted temporary files and even changed browser) and none of that worked. Sigh!

But then I checked with the game itself and found out that by mistake (without knowing it), I had turned the slow battles button on. I put the fast battles on again, and it was all fixed.

Found it! When doing manual battles it is the button on the lower right. Two right arrows is fast mode, one is slow mode.

Close. Three arrows is fast mode.

What's funny about this is that anyone doesn't know about the setting. It's slow mode by default when you start a new city and you have to change it manually to have the faster speeds.
