Stacking Defense Boosts

I have been receiving many defense boosts playing the minigame. What is the limit for stacking them?

I think if you will start stacking all of yours you will find your limit.

I am up to 2695 defense on defense that's almost all potions.

What's the point of this? Using potions is not sustainable. Despite the head fake that we're seeing in the Anniversary Event, we just can't collect enough of them.

I'd consider potions as a workaround until I can get my city reconfigured to handle it more organically.

I get it but the workaround will only last a few seasons. After almost 3 years I've collected only enough for 6,390 total boost. Maybe enough for 3 seasons.

I used them so I can say I did it once , I do not wish to ever do level 5 again. Almost 7000 defense and I still can't beat it. How much "Organic" defense / attack on defense do you think this will need ?

For one small addition to the game that has no real merit to the rest of the game????. How will it help in GBG, GVG, Settlements and even PvP Tower?? I will need to come across a way to get there that does not hamper me from playing the whole game.

Inno seems to be steering us in that direction with the release of two-way buildings like Phantom Tower and the upcoming Panda Shrine.

It may take time, and changes if you already have a 'full' city, but you can eventually build up DA/DD % without sacrificing attack.

There might be some upper limit but it seems high. One guy in my guild used over 200 and got 7000% boost.
