Stuck on zoomed out view

All of a sudden both my cities default to the maximum zoom-out -- everything is tiny. Attempts to zoom in retain the resolution (e.g. buildings become larges but pixelated), and all pop-up windows, such as chat or negotiation window, become huge and no longer fit on the screen -- and also pixelated.

This only happens on the PC -- on the iphone the display is normal. Does anyone else have this problem?

YOUr PC screen probably was changed to a higher resolution. *by you, or someone you know)
When you switch to a higher resolution, the stuff gets smaller.
1920 x 1080 is the best screen resolution for Foe.

It happened literally in the middle of a game. I certainly was not messing with the PC settings at the time

Then I suggest your computer in infested with tiny aliens messing with your head. Did you bother to check the screen settings?
