I look forward to this event. It was fun last year also. The only thing I would like to see is that the avatars have a male/female option. As a guy, I really have no interest in winning a female avatar and I'm sure many of the ladies aren't interested in getting a male avatar. Other than that, forge on with the summer event!

I wasn't here for last year's but after watching the YouTube video Inno put up about it, I am definitely looking forward to it.

This has been my favorite event, and the new buildings look awesome. Good job again! This is the kind of stuff that makes this game so great.

I have some questions
*what are the new buildings
*what will they do
*is the rogue hideout available this year
*will there be diamonds offered (with was on the wheel two or three years ago)
*and, how many tickets will you get total

I'm really looking forward to this event, Last summer started playing FoE and this was the first event I did. It was great last year and with new buildings things look even better this year. I also have questions:
1. How many diamonds does a ticket cost?
2. Will you have a diamond sale and give away tickets with it?

Last year Rouges and hideouts were on the wheel but it was hard to get. when they popped up the whole hood started spinning like crazy.

I hate this event :( worst one in my books.

But it could be worse I'm sure, so I hope for something I can use, but I imagine I'll only fill my inventory with useless items.

Still only 20 medals ? You'd think it would be tied to era or something.

I love the new buildings, anything that adds some additional choices and therefore strategy is great.

Id love the have Champ barracks be a bit easier to get BC during the Easter event it cost 300 eggs per attempt for a 5% chance of getting one barracks.

*the ziggurat, sphinx, caravansary and bazaar.

*there are some offered as a quest reward for completing the quest line
*You start with 1 ticket and can gain 40 through standard quests. If you complete the quests quickly, you will have the opportunity to earn a few bonus tickets also.

1. I'm afraid we cannot give a precise time
2. 100 diamonds for 1 ticket, 450 for 5 and 1650 for 20

Who knows what may happen in future, but the HoF is not a prize in this event. The Bazaar does produce guild power as one of its options, however.

I assume you mean an Arabian theme, not an oriental theme? I see is desert, camels, etc. Not jungles, tigers, etc.

I am so glad that they are bringing back the Casino Wheel summer event. I have been playing FoE for years now, and this has been my favorite of the events. I especially love the new special event buildings, and new avatars! It is the one time when I am sure to buy and spend diamonds. Very happy that they announced a start time to the event, though---it can be hard to wait, when you that the event is in beta and you are waiting for it to start in your world. Really looking forward to the event.

Now all we need is special events in Elvenar!

The Bazaar would have been much better if they didn't try to match its production times with that of a supply building. Having the supply and coin production at every 5 and 15 minutes makes that feature all but useless for any player that has built Lighthouse of Alexandria, Royal Albert Hall, or St. Marks. If would have been much better off if all the productions were set at 8 hour intervals with the forge points being adjusted to 1 per 8 hours.

It's a terrible building, doesn't do anything well.
Want FP? 2/day in the same space you could fit 5 shrines, and get a nice coin payout.
Want power? Assuming you can collect 16 times/day you end up with 160/day in PME. or 8 power per sq. Or you can use an HOF that they don't seem to be offering anymore, 110/220 motivated, or 24.4 power per sq.
Add to that you're a slave to the timer, depending on what you want from it?
I'm sure the hood will be excited when someone puts one down though...will certainly encourage plundering again. :D

FYI -- none of this seems oriental themed like in the announcement. It is desert-themed, or more appropriately, North African and Middle-Eastern-themed.
