Anyone know when the Summer Event will be hitting our shores after its test on Beta?

DeletedUser8944

Event is said to end on Aug. 27th on Beta so it should hit shortly before then, I'm guess 2 more weeks

Once we know an exact date for the event, it will be posted here, and you should also receive a notice ingame, such as the ones that pop up over your player bar at the bottom of the game screen.

I believe FoE made a mistake on the amount of diamonds necessary to purchase tickets for the summer casino event. "100 Diamonds for 1 Ticket"????????? LMAO - good luck with that!

Seeing how with a single spin you can receive a prize that otherwise costs 300 diamonds, 400 diamonds, 600 diamonds, 1000 diamonds, or even 3000 diamonds, I don't think a mistake exists.

For the "build xyz" quests (build a residential, build a cultural, etc), do you know if the quests are completed when you start the build or finish building?

Which reward has been priced @ 3000 diamonds?

Wishing Well and Hall of Fame are about that price, might be the Rogue Hideout as well. The WW has been at a cost of 500 eggs (to get 500 eggs you'd need about 2500 diamonds), while the Hall of Fame was somewhat more expensive than the WW during the Soccer Event, but I did not remember the actual cup prizes to establish a price based on that.

He is correct about some being expensive. The BIGGEST one being the Shrine of Knowledge. When have you ever had it so easy to win them? I have already won 4 Shrines today.

SAVE all your tickets and spend them all at once. I spent 1650 Diamonds to purchase 20 Tickets. 20 Tickets that's all you say?
The wheel is made up of 9 slots, each slot is 4 available per item. That makes it 36 slots with 4 or more being premiums.

So now you know your odds. 1:36 chance of winning a Shrine or Wishing Wells that I recommend leaving everything else.
Your odds get better with each spin. Back to where I started. I found the wheel had 9 slots already taken, but all Shrines still available. My odds were now 1:27 so I bought 20 tickets to buy every slot. It cost me 20 spins to win ALL four of the Shrines of Knowledge. I went from 5 to 9 of them the first day for a total of 1650 Diamonds.

This is a strategy game stop throwing the tickets away then crying you didn't win anything. The number of tickets you receive from completing all quests will earn you 4 Wishing Wells or 4 SOK. Spend them wisely.

4 SOK on the first day for 1650 Diamonds Vs. 12,000 Diamonds to win 3 SOK during the Soccer Event. Do the math and apologize for saying this event is a ripoff and practically calling the moderator a liar on the diamond cost of items.

If you try to win the watchfire which was cheap and pass the WW and SOK that's your choice. Bad choice, but still your choice

HoF was 4000 cups and the WW was 6250 cups and Rogue Hideout was 5000 cups

for the price of one ticket the prizes should be bigger 100diamonds per ticket is not fair and most of the things offerd on wheel you can get anyway without diamonds casino is no good offer better goods on the wheel

DeletedUser10266

I cant really speak for other ages but the prizes for IndA justify the cost if not make it look to cheap. I have already won a premium cultural and 2 premium residence which is over 1000 diamonds to flat out buy or 300 diamonds for the 3 tickets used. Some of the prizes may not justify buying tickets but most of them more than justify the cost.

In any case, the choice to spend diamonds on the game is yours. If you don't think the prizes are worth it, then you don't have to buy any tickets.

DeletedUser10806

I won a Windmill which would have cost me 500 diamonds.
As said before the choice to buy diamonds is yours. Don't bother if you feel the prizes are shonky but I think they're brilliant (apart from all the female avatars I've won LOL - I don't suit a Victoria!!)

This event ended too soon. Out of 11 worlds, I only have two left. That ranges from IA to LMA. The medals have all but stopped in the hoods as everyone has completed it now. You should just keep the extra tickets going like they were. You might have to M/P 80 by the last day, but that only creates game activity and that is good for everyone.

I couldn't get the link to work. Don't know if it's me or doesn't work.

I don't know how they're going to top this event. I managed to win 46 SOK to give me 51
